I don't know about you, but I'm the type of person that wants to have the actual manual in front of me when I build something. This page shows the guide on how to download and install Warcraft 1 Free. This is the first sequel to the famous Warcraft universe from Blizzard. However, this title is not as successful as Warcraft 2 because the design of the game is not as good. Nevertheless, it is one of the titles that Warcraft fans will want to try in order to appreciate the full series. The gameplay is very much similar to Warcraft 2 but with fewer features and lower quality designs.

Storyline
It’s a game about the war between the human and the orcs in a fantasy world. The orcs arrived in this world using Dark Portals and seek to destroy the world. However, the human and elves fought them back with magic and sword.
Warcraft 1 Free (Download & Install Guide)
Below are the steps to download and install the game:
1. Download the file with size 427 MiB from MyAbandonware.
2. Download “DOSBox” installer from DOSBox.
3. Next, install “DOSBox” on your PC using the “DOSBox” installer.
4. Download “WinCDEmu” from WinCDEmu website.
5. Install “WinCDEmu” on your PC using the “WinCDEmu” installer.
6. Following next, extract the contents in “warcraft-orcs-humans_dos_04d0.zip”.
7. Then, mount the file “WAR1.mds” with the CD/DVD ROM emulator.
8. Next, start DOSBox and type the command “mount v: v:\”.
9. Up Next, type the command “mount d: d:\”.
10. After that, change to v: drive.
11. Type “install.exe” to start the installation process.
12. Follow the instruction during the installation process and complete the installation.
13. After installation is completed, start the game and enjoy.

Gameplay: Warcraft 2 Beyond the Dark Portal Free is the expansion of Warcraft 2 Tide of Darkness. Thus, the gameplay very similar to the first sequel. However, this expansion packs new storyline with regards to the Dark Portal. In addition, new units, maps, quest and building are added to improve the gameplay of this game.
Storyline: The plot of Beyond the Dark Portal takes place after the events of Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. The Orcs are now under the leadership of Ner’zhul who is staging a new invasion of Azeroth to overwhelmed the citadel of Nethergarde. The Alliance itself had been splintered after the Second War and Gilneas and Stromgarde had withdrawn their support. The arch-mage Khadgar summoned heroes of Azeroth, Alleria Windrunner, Danath Trollbane, Turalyon and Kurdran Wildhammer to rally the forces of the Alliance. The Horde was beaten back and Khadgar decided to take the initiative to push through the Portal into the Orcs’ homeland. Before being pushed back, Ner’zhul managed to steal the spellbook of Medivh which was needed to create new Portals. Now it’s up to us to stop the Orcs.
